According to the website of the Center for Forest Ecology and Productivity of the Russian Academy of Sciences (CEPF RAS), as part of the first stage of the key innovative government project, proposals have been developed to amend the Land Code and the Forest Code of Russia, which will remove legal restrictions on the exploitation of unused agricultural land for forest cultivation.
