The Federal Scientific Center for Agroecology of the Russian Academy of Sciences invites researchers to take part in the scientific and practical conference with international participation “Agroforestry reclamation and protective afforestation: History and prospects of development”, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Decree of the Council of Ministers of the USSR and the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) dd. October 20, 1948 “On the plan of field-protective afforestation, introduction of grassfield crop rotation, construction of ponds and reservoirs to ensure highly-sustainable yields in the steppe and forest-steppe regions of the European part of the USSR” and the 100th anniversary of the birth of Academician E. S. Pavlovsky.

The conference will include a round table meeting on “Carbon in agroecosystems: The monitoring of greenhouse gas flows in southern parts of Russia”
