Advanced training courses “Experience in organizing works and technical equipment at a carbon test site”

June 1 to June 5, 2023, the Scientific and Educational Center for Environmental Dynamics and Global Climate Change at the Yugra State University, Khanty-Mansiysk, is conducting advanced training courses titled “Experience in organizing works and technical equipment at a carbon test site” along with the Summer School for Young Researchers.

The course is designed for specialists who carry out research at carbon test sites and engage in processing and visualization of the data obtained. During the course, students will learn the methods for measuring greenhouse gases, find out how to use the R software package and its features, cloudless mosaics MODIS, Landsat, Sentinel on Google Earth Engine, QGIS navigation options, as well as GRASS software, and visit the Mukhrino carbon test site.
