As part of the conference of the VIII All-Russian Scientific Conference with international participation “Environmental problems of the Northern regions and ways to solve them”, a micro-symposium “Carbon in terrestrial ecosystems: assessment and monitoring methods” was held, where the first results of work on the project “Unified National Monitoring System for Climatically Active Substances” were discussed. At the micro-symposium, 14 oral presentations on research in forest, swamp and tundra biogeocenoses were presented.
