Vice-governors of St. Petersburg – Knyaginin Vladimir and Razumishkin Evgeny visited the laboratory of St. Petersburg State Technical University for the study and analysis of carbon fluxes in terrestrial ecosystems.
Associate Professor of the Department of General Ecology, Anatomy and Physiology of Plants, Yuri Khomyakov, spoke in detail about the research within the framework of the most important innovative project of national importance “RITM Carbon”, which is aimed at developing a national system for monitoring carbon pools and creating a data accounting system for greenhouse gas flows and carbon budget.
