The group of Diptychs of pools and streams of the Institute of Physicochemical and Biological Problems of Soil Science RAS has completed the summer field season. The results of the scientists’ work make it possible to estimate the reserves of gas and nitrogen in the main components of the climate and to identify the features of the cycle of these elements.
Scientists established a key site for assessing carbon pools in a mixed forest in the Moscow region on the territory of the Prioksko-Terrasny Biosphere Reserve.
