On June 12-23, a meeting of school forestry units of the Kostroma Oblast was held in the Sledovo Ecological and Biological Center. The Kostroma State University traditionally becomes a partner in organizing such events for school students.
A.V. Trufanov, employee of the Center for Forest Ecology and Productivity (CEPF RAS), delivered a CEPF RAS projects in the field of Earth remote sensing and assessment of carbon stock.
“I am confident that the joint work of research scientists from the CEPF RAS and academic staff of our university will help increase interest among young people in environmental issues and increase the diverse resources of our Russian forests,” said D.V. Chaikovsky, acting rector of the Kostroma State University
