Airborne survey carried out by researchers from the Institute of Atmospheric Optics of the SB RAS (IAO SB RAS) allowed a rare phenomenon of the intense intrusion of ozone from the stratosphere into the troposphere to be recorded.This phenomenon is of great interest to the scientific community all around the world.
Regular airborne surveys of the atmosphere are carried by IAO SB RAS in the framework of the RITM Carbon consortium aimed at developing the Russian system for climate monitoring.
