The contest participants created their own version of the forest ecosystem by coloring a thematic scientific coloring book. It was developed in the consortium “RITM of carbon” by experts of the Center for Forest Ecology and Productivity of the Russian Academy of Sciences (CEPF RAS).
336 works were submitted for the competition. They were divided into age groups:
preschoolers (12 drawings),
younger schoolchildren aged 7-10 years (80 drawings),
students aged 11-19 years (199 works),
participants aged 20-35 years (34 drawings),
participants over 35 years old (11 works).
The expert jury (Anna Geraskina, Maria Danilova and Daria Tebenkova) determined the winners in each age group.
